Dawn joined the White Mountain Animal Hospital team in September of 2022 and has quickly become an essential part of our team. As our lead surgery technician, Dawn brings a strong passion for veterinary surgery, paired with a calm, focused presence that makes her a true asset in the operating room.

With over four years of experience in the veterinary field, Dawn is a true jack of all trades—her versatility means you might find her anywhere in the hospital, from assisting in patient care to occasionally helping out at the front desk. Her well-rounded skill set and dedication to both animals and clients make her an invaluable member of our practice.

Dawn’s career in medicine began in human healthcare. She proudly served in the U.S. Navy Reserves in the early 2000s and later earned her Medical Assistant certification. Before transitioning to veterinary medicine, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for over a decade, including as a caregiver for a Marine combat veteran. Her deep compassion and love for animals eventually led her to pursue her original dream—working in veterinary medicine.

Born in Oklahoma and raised in California, Dawn moved to the White Mountains in 2019 and has embraced the community as home. Outside the clinic, Dawn enjoys spending time with her friends and her pets.
