We’re thrilled to have Dr. Katie Norris on our team! Originally from Sparks, Nevada, Dr. Norris has always had a deep passion for animal care. She earned her Bachelor's degree from Oregon State University, where she discovered her love for large animal medicine while working with the university’s sheep, beef, and horse barns. This passion led her to Kansas State University, where she completed her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2022.
Dr. Norris specializes in equine and large animal medicine, with a particular interest in surgery, wound care, herd management, and obstetrics. While she loves working with all animals, sheep and camels hold a special place in her heart.
Outside the clinic, Dr. Norris enjoys spending time with her two German Shepherds, Kya and Suki. She’s an outdoor enthusiast who loves hiking with her dogs, as well as an artist and musician who enjoys watercolor painting, crochet, and playing music. She also cares for a home herpetarium, showcasing her love for reptiles.
